WEIGHT loss is truly a journey according one woman who underwent surgical measures to slim down.
She was initially too heavy to undergo the gastric sleeve procedure to remove part of her stomach and dropped 25 pounds the old-fashioned way to qualify.
Ayala (), 22, filmed the process in a series posted to TikTok.
"You're never going to lose weight, you keep failing, just stop trying," read the text, echoing commentary from naysayers.
Switching to a current photo, she appeared significantly slimmer.
In yet , she detailed how she melted off the pounds.
She candidly filmed herself at her starting point in 2020, wearing a bra and underwear, weighing 280 pounds.
However, she was told that she was too heavy to go straight into surgery.
"Started working out for my gastric sleeve surgery," the text read.
She showed a photograph of herself the night before her life-changing procedure, having lost 25 pounds through lifestyle changes.

Ayala detailed that the magic truly started after recovering from her surgery.
"Started losing weight, had a strict diet, also started cardio," she said.
By the time she slimmed down to 115 pounds, Ayala had excess loose skin — a common caveat of rapid weight loss.
But she didn't let the issue get under her skin, saying: "I started working out for my skin removal."
Gaining muscle is often a critical step in maintaining weight loss goals before heading straight for the operating table again.
"Started eating carbs to gain weight," she added, showing herself weightlifting in the gym.
Finally, after reaching 150 pounds, she went in for surgery in Sinaloa, Mexico to achieve her desired look with a skin-removal procedure called a "tummy tuck."
She said: "Seven months post-operative and I'm still going to the gym and maintaining my body."
