I work on a superyacht and earn thousands but millionaires ask for the most outrageous things
A SUPERYACHT crew member has revealed secrets of the super-rich – including her most “ridiculous” request.
Giselle Azueta hit the headlines a few months ago after revealing what it’s really like to work for millionaires and billionaires, and she’s now back with more juicy details.
The 39-year-old first went into the superyacht industry a few years ago, after a friend invited her to see one.
But working for people with money to burn can be quite the challenge sometimes, with plenty of strange requests.
“I'm going to tell you the story of the most ridiculous request I have ever been asked by a millionaire… to make pet stuff,” the head stewardess told .
“One time some guests were going to travel with their dog and the referral sheet that was sent to them asked for the pet's details.

“The guests wrote that they wanted us to cook steak for the dog's dinner every night.
“The chef was also left to see that the dog only drank bottled water and also, as an additional [task], someone had to rub the dog's ears while it ate.
“In my next life, I want to be a rich dog, I have decided.”
Another time, a different millionaire asked for their bathtub to be filled with bottled water.

She said: “One time we had some guests, and the woman was asking us to fill her bathtub with water.
“But not just any water – bottled water.
“We went through about 400 bottles a day [during] that trip, due to drinking and washing, it was crazy.”
In her current role, Giselle is in charge of the interior of the yacht and dealing with the guests.
She said: “I am in charge of making all the purchases for the crew, the guest preference list, decoration purchases, and guest amenities.
“I love to plan the events and theme dinners!
“But I also have to supervise the laundry and housekeeping hostesses, as well as being in charge of the yacht's administration and accounts.”
For anyone looking to go into the industry, Giselle says it makes you grow as a person and you become extremely independent.
She added: “You know yourself a lot since you spend a lot of time with yourself.
“It's a very well-paid industry and it's also a very superficial industry.
