Not all affairs are bad – mine went on for ten years and ended in marriage – if you love someone you should just cheat
CARLA Bellucci is no stranger to controversy after she unashamedly boasted to the nation about getting a free nose job on the NHS.
And now she admits that when she met her now husband Gio, she was married to her ex and he was in a 20 year live-in relationship with the mother of his child.
But far from feeling guilt or shame she has no regrets and has even branded her husband’s ex a ‘muppet’ for failing to realise he was cheating.
Speaking exclusively to Fabulous, Carla, 42, who married Gio, 53, wearing an £8000 white dress in a no-expenses-spared beach ceremony earlier this year, says, “I wanted him and I got him.
“It’s been nearly five years now and we’re really happy - I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.
“I wouldn’t blame anyone else for doing the same, in fact I’d say go for it if you believe he’s the one.

“And if your husband cheats on you, you’ve only got yourself to blame.
“His ex was a muppet. He’d spend every Saturday night at my house, and often a night during the week too. How could she not have realised?

“And if she did, why didn’t she read him the riot act? I don’t blame myself, you can’t split up a happy marriage.”
The old saying might be ‘once a cheat, always a cheat’ but Carla has no concerns that the same could happen to her.

“There’s no way he’d cheat on me, I trust him completely and make sure I stay hot and sexy so he’s got no reason to stray,” she says.
“But if he did he’d be out of the door, I wouldn’t put up with it.”
Carla, who lives with Gio in Hertfordshire with her three youngest children, Tanisha, 18, Jayden, 16, and Blu, two, was married to her ex when she first met Gio in 2009.
She remembers: “He owned a photography studio and I went there to do a glamour shoot. I thought he was sweet and nice.

“A few months later I went back to do some more modelling and this time we really connected. There was an insane chemistry between us.”
The couple started texting constantly and arranged to meet up behind their partners’ backs.
After they spent their first night together a few weeks later, Carla came clean to her husband and their marriage ended.
Gio on the other hand didn’t – and kept living with his partner who he’d been with for 20 years.
“I wanted to leave my marriage anyway, I was very unhappy and this was the push I needed,” she remembers.
“But I didn’t expect Gio to and I never suggested he should.”
But as their affair continued, Gio gave her a job at his studio manager and paid for her deposit on a rented house in Essex.
Carla says: “Gio was like my real-life Christian Grey. He scooped me up and spoilt me rotten.
“My husband’s idea of date night was a drive thru McDonalds. Gio took me to amazing restaurants, showed me with presents and flew me round the world ‘on business’. He was kind and supportive and we’d talk for hours.
“I felt as though I was in a fairytale.”
Though Carla admits it’s a strange kind of fairytale when Prince Charming is sneaking around and going home to his long-term partner and the mother of his child.
She says: “I blanked her from my mind in the first five years and I never thought of their child.
“I was enjoying my independence, I was working with him, I had my kids and a loving boyfriend.
“If she did cross my mind, I was just pleased he had someone else doing his washing.
“My kids saw him as my boyfriend and no one at work cared, they knew we were at it and accepted it.
“My friends met him and thought he was lovely, but that the situation would hurt me – but I was sure I’d come out on top.”
However as the years passed Carla became frustrated with the situation.
“I wanted someone to wake up with every morning,” she admits.
“I felt frustrated by her. He was staying with me every Saturday night.

“I never asked him how he explained that away, but all I could think was she must know there was someone else and so why was she putting up with it?
“I even met her a couple of times when she came to the studio. I didn’t feel any girl code guilt towards her, I was sure she couldn’t really love him if she wasn’t questioning what he was doing, I presumed she just wanted the lifestyle.
“He was the one who owed her loyalty, not me.
“After 10 years I’d had enough.
“I didn’t ask him to leave but I deliberately made him jealous, posting pictures of me out with the girls with other men – though I was never unfaithful.
“And when he went on a family holiday to Portugal, I went to Vegas with the girls.”
In 2019 Gio finally ended his relationship and a few months later he moved in with Carla.
“I’ve got what I wanted," she says. "People say once a cheater, always a cheater.
“But l’d never cheat on him and don’t believe he would on me. I make sure he’s happy.
“We have a gorgeous daughter and he’s a great dad. We still make time for ourselves.
“A lot of women let themselves go after having a baby and give up on their relationship, but I’d never do that.
“I keep our marriage as exciting and fresh as if we were still having an affair – we have sex at least four times a week.”
Carla knows she’ll be reviled for her affair, but she’s unashamed.
She says: “People will troll me but they should get a life, they walk round thinking they’re perfect but their husbands are probably out sleeping with other people behind their backs while they brand me a sl*g.

“They’ll blame me for being a marriage wrecker – his ex hates me – but at the end of the day he was the one who had a commitment, not me.
“Mind you I was 10 years younger than her and hot...so I don’t blame him!”
