Primark shoppers left divided over £18 Christmas jumper…some call it ‘tat’ & a ‘monstrosity’ but others race to nab it
“Why is this a thing? First a Primark jumper now this.”
PRIMARK shoppers are totally divided over the new £18 Christmas jumper – but what do you think?
With the festive season fast approaching, the high-street is now full of Christmas clothing, as many of us start to get prepared for the big day.
But Primark’s latest festive find has caused discussion online, and while some shoppers are racing to nab one, others aren’t keen, and have even gone as far to label it ‘tat’ and a ‘monstrosity’.
One savvy shopper spotted the bright green and yellow Subway jumper when shopping in her local Primark, and took to social media to show it off.
Posting on , a private group with a whopping 2.3 million members, Desola Adeniyi posted a picture of the new jumper and wrote: “Subway Christmas jumper at Primark Lakeside on men’s. £18.”
If you’re a fan of Subway, the fast food sandwich chain, and can’t get enough of their foot long subs, this jumper might just be for you.
Long are the days of standard Christmas jumpers with reindeers and stars, as you’ll be sure to get your loved ones talking this December with this bold number – not only is it an eye-catching green colour, but it also has two sandwiches on the front too.
The crew neckline, long sleeves and ribbed cuffs offer a cosy fit and the Christmas trees and snowflakes make this jumper perfect for office jumper days when paired with jeans or joggers.
The jumper ranges from a size extra small, to an extra, extra large, so is perfect for a variety of sizes.
Desola shared her post just 13 hours ago, but it has already caused a lot of discussion – with Facebook users totally divided.
Some shoppers were thrilled at the find and were eager to nab themselves one, which many took to the comments to express.
One person said: “Definitely need that!”
Another added: “This was made for me.”
A third shopper tagged a friend and commented: “We need this!”
However, at the same time, not everyone was as keen.
One user wrote: “£18 for tat.”
A second chimed in: “That’s extortionate.”
Someone else posted: “Why is this a thing? First a Primark jumper now this.”
Whilst another Primark fan tagged a friend and asked: “Have we have this monstrosity in?”
