Alongside candle emojis, the mother wrote: “Wave of light 2023. Forever our missing heartbeat, Alfie Thomas Radford.”

However, despite the kind comments from fans, a nasty troll sent shockwaves throughout the comments, with a very rude question.

The troll wrote: “Again?? What's the occasion? No content?”

In response, Sue shared a screenshot of the nasty comment on her Instagram stories, as she clapped back and explained: “People like this are really mentally not ok.

“They must have such [an] incredibly sad life and for that I feel sorry for you.”

Sue also added: “I will never stop talking about Alfie.

“He is our son who is loved and missed.”

Stunned at the hater’s remark, Sue and Noel’s fans quickly took to the comments to respond to the mean troll.

One person said: “No parent will ever forget the loss of their child. I pray that you will never have to experience the heartache of losing a child you sick f**k!!”

Another added: “Are you seriously questioning why they are remembering their son? Do you have any empathy or are you just an idiot troll?

“I lost my 6 month old boy a long time ago but I still put little things up on my socials. How dare you even question if someone wishes to do that.

“Try showing a little empathy in your life if you're able.”

A third commented: “Why does there need to be an occasion, pretty sure not a minute or day goes by they don't think of their little boy!

“Seriously need to wise up before commenting s**t.”

Not only this, but many fans were eager to support the couple and comment on Sue’s tribute and Alfie’s grave.

One user wrote: “Sending lots of love. You keep Alfie's grave looking beautiful. I'm sure he's always by your side.”

A second chimed in: “Beautiful tribute. My brother would have been 36 years old today but he passed away after being born too prematurely. Thinking of you all.”

Whilst someone else penned: “Sending love to you all. Baby Alfie will always be remembered!”

The Morecambe-based super mum has previously opened up about her grief over the loss of her son Alfie, writing that it “never gets any easier”.

Heartbreakingly, the loss of Alfie came just a year after Sue had suffered a miscarriage in September 2013.

Since then, the family have vowed to keep his memory alive, with Sue even getting a tattoo of tiny footprints on her hand and feet in his honour.

In an episode of the family’s reality TV programme, the mum also opened up about feeling “quite bad” for taking her healthy pregnancies for granted, adding that stillbirths “should definitely be spoken about a lot more”.

And that’s exactly what Baby Loss Awareness Week pledges to do, aiming to bring together people touched by pregnancy and baby loss so they know that they’re not alone.

The week culminates with the global Wave of Light event, in which families are invited to burn a candle to remember all the babies that have died too soon.
