Jada’s shocking separation revelations took the world by storm Wednesday.
Ahead of the actress's Today Show , a clip from the dramatic sit-down with Hoda Kotb was released.
Jada, 52, said she split with Will, 55, years ago and that there was no reason for her to divorce him after 25 years of marriage.
The talk show host confessed they "live separately" and had been figuring out their partnership for a while.

As Jada promoted her book, titled Worthy, the Baltimore native also posted two Instagram videos.

In an exclusive interview, James told The U.S. Sun: “Jada looked like she'd regressed to her vulnerable babyhood.
“In the , she was wrapped in a protective white fluffy coat with a cute T-shirt with ‘Love You’ written on it.

"At the back of the group was Will, who slapped a copy of her book laughing.
"He read it with what looks like comic deliberation.
"He showed no self-protective displays or serious faces to imply it was a tragic story."
James noted the latest clip showed Jada sitting quietly on her own.
“Jada looked vulnerable and was swaddled in protective baby bedwear as if she was sitting scared in a cot, " she added.
“The birthing theme seemed to be part of her conscious thinking as she referred to having given birth to the book.
"She held it up to the camera as though she was showing off a baby."

James suggested Jada's fear of exposing the truth was also revealed during a clip from her TV interview airing on NBC Friday.
“Jada was signaling her desire to be safe during the NBC sit down, " she added.
"She wanted to be protected from any disapproval or criticism.
“During the TV clip, when the separation was first announced, Jada’s smile turned into a micro-wince of pain.
"There was even a flash of anger from the way she bit at her words.
"When Hoda asked why she had kept the secret, Jada's gestures pleaded for continued support from her fans."

Will and Jada have talked publicly about their unusual and turbulent marriage over the years.
After stating they enjoyed an “open marriage,” Jada confessed to an “entanglement” in 2020 on Facebook.
The actress had an affair with a friend of her son Jayden, Alsina August, then 23.
It appeared that Will and Jada went on to find their own formula for marital bliss.

They raised their two kids Willow, 22, and Jaden, 25, together.
They continued on as one of Hollywood's most powerful couples.
Jada also talked about their “golden cage," while batting off rumors of divorce and swinging.
Now the estranged pair have seemingly kept up an appearance for years, including during Will's famous 2022 Oscars slap.

James noted how Jada's family reacted to the book release.
She said Will appeared to battle for attention in the family clip.
“With the truth of his marriage about to be revealed, Will decided to try and showboat," she explained.
“He started to show off in the background, so we see Will waving his arms in the air.
“He looks like one of the kids and is unaware that he has likely always been relegated to the second row back.
“This clip shows Will in big kid mode at an event that is all about his wife and her serious book.
“Jaden is almost totally hidden in a parka with the hood zipped right up to the eyes.
“Despite the storm that is about to break, Will’s body language and appearance were a direct contrast to Jada's sad, almost tragic displays.
“For Will, there was no vulnerability like Jada showed."

James continued: “When she posted on Instagram, Jada enlisted her entire family to support her, including Will, as extras for this scene.
"Their overkill responses just show how much they all want to please her.
“She was flanked by the children with Will standing behind her doing everything he could to attract attention.
"He looked like a second-row chorus guy.
"Will gets no attention from Jada for his efforts.
“This is all very much Jada’s show.
“This may be all about erasing any mistakes from her past and re-inventing this misty bundle of self-loving vulnerability.
“But now Jada may not quite be able to shake off her fluffy dressing gown.
"Jada may never be able to distance herself from the tragedies of the past.
"Her delivery is generally low in energy throughout her book promotion efforts so far.
