Now this is a dress for a special occasion!

I’m not one to shy away from metallics and LOVE incorporating them into my everyday wardrobe but this time i've gone for a glam dress up look.

I love the open back knot detailing on this dress, it makes it feel really luxe and the ideal dress for a birthday or party!

I’ve paired it with a pair of black heeled boots to add a bit of contrast and provide some warmth.

I always wear heels but there's nothing I can’t stand more than feeling cold on a winter evening.

This H&M Studio jacket is the nicest coat I’ve seen all season, it’s perfect to compliment a dressier look and the quality is fantastic for a high-street brand.

H&M have really amped up their game with the accessories this year, these statement earrings are on my wish list, and at such an affordable price too, how could you resist?

I have had an old pair of Mango silver trousers in my wardrobe for years and they are falling apart, so this year it’s time for an upgrade!

This leather pair from Jigsaw are a great investment piece and leather only gets better with age

Metallics are a neutral and go with everything from other neutrals to bright pops of colour.

Adding a neon green knit into the metallic mix gives a sporty vibe that I love.

The weather is still mild so I have teamed with a neutral trench as a lightweight outer layer.

If the silver trousers are still too much for you, try adding in a statement pair of earrings.

This is a go to look for me when out and about on fashion appointments.

Comfy, cool and just a little bit out there!

My look proves that metallics aren’t only for the evening, they look great in your daytime wardrobe too

As a rule I’m a gold girlie through and through, but the silver trend is hard to ignore - it's everywhere.

I am, however, like a magpie when it comes to all things glitzy and shiny but like to wear them less like I’m going to a Christmas party and more for everyday.

I love this cable knit jumper from Mango for throwing on with a pair of wide leg jeans, it will just elevate an otherwise plain outfit with very little effort.

I’ll pair the two with simple silver slingbacks and sleek black accessories with silver hardware so the look ties altogether.

To make my look more styled I’ll turn up the hems of the jeans ever so slightly to show off the shoes even more.

Who doesn’t love a bit of sparkly silver, after being everywhere on the catwalks including the likes of Valentino, Michael Kors and Altuzarra.

Now it’s come to the high street there are so many options available to buy.

This silver dress from Zara is the perfect party number, I love the halterneck detail and it even has rhinestones along the lining for that extra bit of glam.

I’ve added pops of pink with a blazer and heels and accessorised with even more silver in the form of earrings and a bag.

Whilst this is quite a dressy dress, you could wear it for multiple occasions including an autumn/ winter wedding, a party or just simply for dinner and drinks.

As we are heading into the colder months, this is also a dress that would be great for a holiday worn with flat sandals and a clutch.

Silver is everywhere at the moment and it looks like the trend is here to stay.

It seems somewhat daunting at first to style but it really has become the new neutral so I've paired it with some every-day basics for a cool but super wearable look that anyone could pull-off.

I’ve chosen a classic white tee (you can NEVER go wrong) for a relaxed casual look, paired with a sequin midi-skirt from River Island which does all of the talking.

A statement piece that can be worn from day to night.

To complete this eye-catching look, I've chosen some silver croc mary janes, experimenting with textures really adds another dimension and injects some sophistication.

Finish off with a blue toned knit over the shoulders in case it gets chilly and a touch of denim.
