I’m a football WAG – my man spoils me with designer goodies but our home’s full of Home Bargains, Primark and Wilko buys
A FOOTBALLER'S girlfriend has shared an inside peek at their new house - and she's a fan of Home Bargains and Primark homeware.
Ellie Butler and partner Liam Shaw moved to Wigan after the Celtic midfielder signed a loan deal with Wigan Athletic this summer.
In the past, their moves have been so quick that Liam's washing was still wet as Ellie packed up to get him to his new club in time.
And this time round, the couple had to stay in a Wigan hotel for several days until Ellie sourced them a new home.
"This is just the life of being a footballer's girlfriend", she said.
"You have to do all the stuff while they're at work."
Speaking in her while house-hunting, she added: "But I'm actually really excited to find a house.
"I want a little garden for Ace [their dog]. I'm not asking for too much as long as it's clean, it's nice, it's got a garden, it's got a bath and a dishwasher.
"Three bedrooms would be great because then I can have my own space to put my wardrobes and stuff, Liam can have his for his PlayStation obviously, [and] our bedroom.
"I'm not being too fussy but I know what I want. I'm not gonna settle for something that I look at like urgh.

"I'm gonna be living here for maybe like a year."
And the proud WAG was excited to find an unfurnished three-storey pad that she could put her own touch on.
"We need a fridge, a washing machine, a sofa, a bed and just a desk for Liam's room and that's pretty much everything we need", she said.
"Obviously I'm not going to spend crazy amounts because we are only renting."
So while Ellie's dressing room is packed full of designer handbags and Gucci loafers, she was more than happy to shop for bargains to kit out their new home.
The blonde beauty picked up glass tea, coffee and sugar pots from Wilko for just £2, as well as a "stunning" dinnerware set and mugs from IKEA.
She also bagged a rug from Tesco for the living room, blankets from TK Maxx and bedding from Home Bargains which she hailed as "really nice quality".
Another Home Bargains buy - a cream pouffe - sits in her dressing room, while the couple have matching £20 Primark lamps beside their bed.
Ellie gushed: "They're the most stunning lamps ever."

And while some black bedside tables from Asda proved too small for the master bedroom, Ellie kept one of the £35 pieces for her hallway.
In their place, she picked up £36 wooden tables from Dunelm.
