EVERYONE knows how expensive some skincare products can be – particularly those known for their anti-ageing properties.
So now a skincare expert has shared her top three tips and hacks for reducing facial wrinkles that are totally free.
And there are plenty of things you can do from today that she says will make a big difference in the long-run – from how you hold your phone to how you sleep at night.
Skin pro Amy, who is the woman behind a skin care product called Base Skncare, decided to lift the lid on her free and easy tricks and the easy switches that you should be implementing instead.
In a recent video, Amy, who can be found on TikTok atexplained to her followers: “[There’s] three ways to reduce wrinkles that won’t cost you a penny.”
She then went into the list, starting out with the position in which you hold your phone when you receive a message, or are looking through apps like Facebook and Instagram.

As Amy looked down at the floor towards a phone in her hand, she said: “Number one – don’t stare down at your phone when scrolling.
“When your head is in this position, gravity pulls your skin forward and, over time, this leads to increased lines and sagging.”
Amy then went on to say that there was a simple tweak needed – and all you have to do is ensure you are looking up.
She continued: “Instead, hold it at eye level and your skin will remain toned and youthful.”

But this isn’t the only position you should be avoiding on a day to day basis.
Amy also pointed out that how you get into bed each night could have a huge impact on how you age.
She advised: “Change your sleeping position.
“Sleeping on your side presses your face into your pillow, which weakens the skin in certain areas causing lines and wrinkles.”

So how should people be lying in bed when they want to get their beauty sleep?
Amy added: “To smooth your skin and prevent this from happening, practice sleeping on your back instead.”
Finally, Amy said people should bear in mind the technique they are adopting when applying serum on their skin.
Rather than rubbing it in vigorously or allowing it to seep into your skin over time, Amy let her 13.2k followers in on her trick of the trade.
She explained: “Use gentle tapping motions to help your serums absorb.
