Bargain hunters flock to Homebase to check out the epic sale – there’s 60% off loads of items with furniture going cheap
BARGAIN hunters are flocking to Homebase, desperate to check out the epic sale.
One savvy shopper was left stunned when in her local Homebase store, in Newport, Wales, when she noticed a mega closing down sale.
With epic reductions on a variety of items, Angellina-Máire Rowe was open-mouthed at the cut-price furniture.
With 60% off a huge selection of homeware bits, Angellina-Máire proudly took to social media to show off her finds.
Posting on Facebook on a private group, , which has a whopping 2.3 million members, Angellina-Máire explained: “Homebase in Newport is closing down, lots of reduced items this evening.”
Alongside her post, Angellina-Máire attached a selection of images of the reduced furniture.

She first spotted a variety of chairs which had 60% off, with one gorgeous pink chair slashed from £95 to just £38.
Angellina-Máire also found a TV unit, also with 60% off, as well as desks and office chairs too.
She even noticed a beautiful sideboard, with plenty of storage, that had been reduced down from £390 to just £156.
There was even an ex-display shaker kitchen that was heavily reduced too, with one a whopping 78% off.

Angellina-Máire Rowe shared her post just 22 hours ago, but it has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed 84 likes and 101 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the cut-price buys and were eager to express this in the comments.
One person said: “The pink chair!!”
Another tagged a friend and asked: “One last trip?”
A third mentioned a loved one and commented: “A trip [at] the weekend.”
Whilst someone else alerted a savvy shopper and penned: “Maybe worth a trip for paint???”
The Sun previously reported that the DIY and garden specialist will shut its Newport store for good on Friday, September 8.
It's the sixth store to close in Wales since 2018 when three stores in Cardiff closed.
It also follows the closure of a single store in Wrexham and another in Swansea.
