My sister gave her son a Yellowstone-themed name – she’s mad I called it stupid but he’s facing a lifetime of bullying
A WOMAN whose newborn nephew was about to be given a Yellowstone-themed name has called the baby's mother stupid.
The name choice was sheer madness, she said, and he was going to face a lifetime of bullying because of it.
The woman's sister didn't take the criticism lightly.
In fact, she responded by calling her an a**hole for being so frank in her opinions.
She even took the issue to the online forum for some clarity and reassurance.
There were over four thousand comments to her post and the universal feeling was that she was right to condemn the name.
She explained the background behind their falling out.
"My sister is obsessed with the show Yellowstone. Her husband is willing to do anything to make her happy."
The baby's name revelation shocked her: "They want to name their baby Cowboy.
"I know I should have kept my mouth shut, I just know the absolute sh*t that kid will go through."

She tried to reason with her for the child's sake: "So I told her to consider that she was naming a person who would eventually be an adult."
This lady admitted to some experience with strange monikers.
"Our mom and dad at least had the decency to only give me Danger as a middle name. Yes, I've seen the f**king movie," she said.
"She thinks I'm an a**hole for calling her name choice stupid.
"I think I'm trying to save him from a lifetime of bullying until he legally changes his name."
Commenters were staggered by the name choice and agreed, it was not great.
"I can imagine a lot of Brokeback Mountain jokes being made when he’s young. It’ll be an old reference by then but I’m sure it won’t stop bullies. You are not the a**hole," was the view of one person.

"It's f***ing ridiculous," wrote another commenter, not mincing his words.
A veteran teacher begged her to consider another name: "I thought I had heard all the awful names. Nope, this one makes it to the top Five.
