WITH summer in full swing, many of us will be slipping into our slinky dresses and shorts ready to bask in the warm weather.
But unfortunately, with the heat comes the dreaded chafing, or 'chub rub' as it's commonly known - something that one woman named Lizzy knows only too well.
If this sounds all too familiar, then you're in luck...because she's since shared the genius solution she says will prevent any thigh-rubbing friction - and you've likely already got it in your bathroom cupboards.
In a video shared to her YouTube channel (), she begins: "If you're someone who has thick thighs or you're just thicker than a Snicker...this is for people of any body size where your thighs are rubbing back and forth creating a fire where you can basically roast some S'mores...
"I've heard people of all sizes tell me this and I've given them this tip and trick in order to help their thighs."
Lizzy goes on to recall her first-hand experience of chub rub while she was on holiday.
"When I was in Vegas I became a victim of the burning of the thighs - in between, they're rubbing back and forth," she says.
"I'm okay the first hour, a couple more hours I'm like, 'okay I'm starting to feel the warm,' and a couple more hours I'm like, 'okay yeah this, it burns and it hurts.'"
She then goes on to say how she stopped the chub rub once and for all - using deodorant.

"Seriously, deodorant is my hack for this," she explains.
"You put it inbetween the thighs.
"I'm sure even guys suffer from this when you wear shorts...
"I wear this usually during Disneyland, and also when you have those long days, you literally just take the deodorant, open it up...
"I like to put it in-between my legs and then after that you're good to go.
"It'll be gliding, dancing - let me just tell you, you'll be much more comfortable."
Lizzy goes on to say how it really does work but warns there's a specific type of deodorant to go for.
"This will really work but the key is to get a more powder-like deodorant," she notes.
"When you use a deodorant like this it glides back and forth...you can't use a gel."
The video has since racked up a whopping 143k views - with many quick to take to the comments section to praise Lizzy's heat hack.
"I'm so proud of myself, I've been using the same deodorant on my pits and thighs too!!!" wrote one.
A second penned: "This is going to be super helpful this summer! My thighs need extra care lol! Thanks for this awesome tip, LOVE IT!!!"
A third commented: "I am 39 years old, have suffered from 'thighs on fire' due to friction, Lol. I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this!
"I am totally going to try this! Thank you!!"
Meanwhile, a fourth noted: "Thank you for this hack!! I was dying laughing the whole time but it was sooo helpful! Just suffered from this last weekend in my swimsuit! You rock!"
Another added: "Love this! I’ve tried this trick and it works but haven’t used it in forever!"
And a further chimed in: "You crack me up so much! The thunder thighs are a killer especially in the summer."
