The woman behind the account, Stacey, said she was quoted £1,4000 to sort out her broken and outdated fence.

Barely reaching the height of an adult, the crooked grey panelling provided limited privacy for the homeowner.

Taking matters into her own hands, savvy Stacey managed to transform the area for just £444.

She even cleaned up the patio and raked the gravelling ahead of further plans - whether that be adding plants to the area or grass.

This isn't the first project Stacey has taken on by herself.

The crafty business owner as a design company which started off selling personalised cushions on eBay.

It comes after one woman transformed her dump of a garden using bargain buys from Tesco.

Alison Blinkhorn, 52, from Manchester, was determined to create a peaceful area after the loss of her partner.

She managed to give her outdoor space a glow up on budget using the supermarket, charity shops and high street brand The Range.

One woman also recently saved £3k by doing up her garden herself.

Jasmine claimed she was "quoted £4k to £6k from various landscapers";.

But she gave her garden a jaw-dropping makeover by building her decking all by herself.
