I’m a sexy school sports day mum – other women are jealous, who says you can’t be fit when running the egg & spoon race?

WALKING into her daughter’s end-of-term sports day, Emmerald  Barwise, 30, pops her bag of snacks and a chair on the ground.

Her nine-year-old daughter Frankie waves from her class group on the other side of the field and lines up for the start of the sack race.

The 30-year-old revealed that whenever she does the race, other parents can't stop staring at her

Waving back and yelling encouragement, single mum Emmerald is aware the other mums and dads are no longer staring at their kids but her.

And the reason why? Because she’s so attractive.

“It happens all the time,” she said.

“I am mum-shunned and dad-ogled because I look hot at my kid’s sports day and even at after school gymnastic practice or swimming lessons.

“I am a sexy sports day mum. Yes, dads stare and many frumpier women shoot evil stares.

“But don’t care.

“Why can’t you look hot and fit doing the egg and spoon race?” the single mum to Frankie, nine, from Chester, Cheshire, told Fabulous in an exclusive interview.

“Wearing what I want is a crucial lesson for my child.

“I’m living my best life and she’s proud I won’t change because trolls want me to.”

Emmerrald, who was bullied at school, says she is determined to ‘live her best life and show her own child  how to conquer trolling and look good doing it.”

“If they don't approve of my body-hugging outfits or my sexy tight-fitting jeans, leggings or dresses I’m not bothered,” she said.

“This is me and I am not hurting anyone.”

Events manager Emerald is proud of her body and “exercises hard”.

“I’m a great mum and I won’t have my daughter thinking she has to hide her fashion choices or body because of what other people think,” she said.

She’s not immune to controversy.

Last year she told how she had stopped wearing knickers and bras as part of a radical plan to help save money.

“I ditched my costly lingerie as part of her ‘commando cost-saving’ plan which helped improve her family’s finances.

“I ditched my knickers and bras as a radical cost-saving measure.

"Not only is my decision saving me hundreds of pounds, but I love the way it makes me feel.

"It may sound wacky and weird but it’s the best decision I have ever made."

“That’s why I wear my sports bra top that matches my leggings to sports days. It’s a top that doubles as a bra and looks cute.

“Like almost everyone, the cost-of-living crisis started hitting me in summer.

"I watched with horror as grocery prices started rising and my weekly shop of £50 suddenly hit £80.

"I have to drive to work meetings and I was paying an extra £30 a week to fill up my car as petrol prices hit new highs too.

"Then, with gas and electric prices rising I knew I’d have to start thinking outside the box to save money."

“I wanted to ensure my daughter had the best of everything and so I decided to cut back my costs.”

She said it also made her “feel empowered”.

"Why bother with knickers and bras, forking out cash on special laundry detergent and softener, paying for electricity to run the washing machine and dryer, and gas for the hot water if I didn’t need to?” she said.

As well as saving on the cost of buying lingerie, she says she's cutting laundry costs too.

"My bras can cost anything from £20 to £50, and my knickers used to cost £15 for a pack of two.

"Now I am using the money to pay the heating bill and to ensure Frankie has the best of everything.

While she has “special occasions” on a day-to-day basis she’s ditched them.

"Getting rid of my undies and tossing my bras has given me a confidence I never used to have, and I feel like a new woman,” she said.

"I look better in my tight-fitting clothes; my curves can properly be displayed and because I am saving money I feel financially in control."

“So, I won’t have a few moaning mummies cramp my fashion sense or style. They don't know the true story.”
