Mum shares genius hack to make slushies for your kids in seconds, and it’s so easy

EVERYONE loves a slushie in the hot weather.

And one mum has shared a genius trick for whipping one up quickly and easily at home.

“If your kids are like mine and crazy mad for slushies then you need to try this,” Casey said in a on her Major Mum Hacks TikTok page.

She further explained the hack in the caption, as she showed herself popping a Capri Sun drink in the freezer.

“When frozen, cut the top off and enjoy,” she said, showing her daughter tucking in with a spoon.

“You can also put them in the freezer overnight and take with you in the morning, in your cool bag and enjoy at a beach or at a picnic.”

And not only that, Casey also manages to get several uses out of the Capri Sun cartons.

“I fill them up with juice pop them back in the freezer standing upright for a couple of hrs and mix with a spoon and you have another slushy,” she explained.

Other parents were quick to comment on the clever hack, with one writing: “Adding these to my shopping list as I watch lol.”

“Love it!” another wrote.

As someone else commented: “I freeze them then use them as ice blocks for the picnic and then have very cold capri suns for drinking on the picnic!”
