CVS pharmacy stores have been part of the American retail scene for the last 60 years.
The drugstore chain, which was founded in Massachusetts in 1963, has more than 100million customers nationwide.
A TikToker (@) shocked influencers when she told her followers that she had bought some dry mouth spray from "Consumer Value Stores."
The way Nisa mentioned the chain's historic name in the viral video didn’t go unnoticed.

Another commented: “This is how I realized I have never once considered that CVS was an abbreviation.”
A viewer said they would never have guessed the meaning of CVS.
Viewers were puzzled that Nisa referred to CVS as Consumer Value Store.
One influencer said: “Why’d you say CVS’s full government name?”
Other TikTokers joked that the retail giant had done something wrong.
CVS’ history dates to the 1960s when the retailer opened its first Consumer Value Store in Lowell.
Chiefs changed the name to CVS just a year later and it's remained the same ever since.
