Kristen Stewart and Sydney Sweeney among stars embracing white socks fashion trend
KRISTEN Stewart follows in other stars’ famous female footsteps by making socks the latest fashion trend.
The actress, 33, wore these striking white ones under chunky shoes to a Chanel event in Tokyo, Japan.
Kristen paired the toe warmers with a cream top, miniskirt and jacket, all from the designer brand, which she is an ambassador for.
But a host of other big names have been making the same quirky style choice in recent months.
Actress Sydney Sweeney, 25, and models Hailey Bieber, 26, and Elsa Hosk, 34, have all been seen out and about wearing chunky socks.
The public are happy to foot the bill to look like the stars, with John Lewis reporting sales of “fashion” socks are up 90 percent compared to this time last year.

It’s not just the sock-look she’s been trying out the US actress, 32, was spotted dressed like superhero character Catwoman, at the New York VIP screening of director David Cronenberg’s Crimes of the Future last year.
And she was obviously feline confident as she went braless and unbuttoned.
