I’m a personal trainer but don’t like working out – BBLs are on the way out, there are better ways to grow your glutes

WITH speculation that stars like the Kardashians have reversed their BBLs, fans may wonder if the plastic surgery trend is on the way out.

One personal trainer seems to think so — and she told The U.S. Sun there are better ways to build your butt up naturally.

Sierra Nielsen, 37, isn’t a fan of dramatic body fads.

She’s not obsessed with working out either, despite her career as a personal fitness trainer.

“I’m the one trainer that they know that doesn’t like working out,” she admitted.

“I didn’t become a trainer because I’m like, ‘Oh I love working out. I’m going to do this for a job.’ I did it because I knew I needed to.

“I think that’s why I relate to my clients so well,” she said.

BBL HELL

Though she knows working out is hard work, she’s willing to do it — and thinks the ongoing obsession with Brazilian butt lifts for bigger backsides is troubling.

“Are we just going through the BBL craze because we don’t want to put in the work and the effort?” she said.

She advised thinking twice before going under the knife for an ever-changing beauty standard.

“Going under to drastically change the shape of your body is really dangerous, knowing that BBLs are very dangerous,” she said.

Plus, surgical tweaks can last forever — or at least until a painful or pricey reversal — but body trends don’t.

“I feel like we might be on the end of the [BBL] trend,” Sierra said, adding that “every ten years there’s a new trend.”

“I think that’s where we need to have a conversation. Your body is not a trend.”

HOMEGROWN GLUTES

Sierra shared her top tips for boosting your bum naturally, highlighting the importance of building muscle, including glutes, for health reasons.

“Having big glutes usually means having strong glutes when you’re growing them naturally,” she said.

“That’s the foundation of your body. If you got a strong core, strong glutes, you can pretty much do anything.

“What I focus on is getting in all the different patterns.

“Squatting, deadlifting, hinging, lunges, split squats, and step-ups are some of my favorites,” she said.

FINDING A TRAINER

If you’re searching for a trainer to help you put together a workout plan, Sierra warned against trusting someone simply because they’ve got a nice body.

“Just because you look good does not mean that you are qualified to give other people advice,” she stressed.

She said it’s crucial to find someone with experience and passion for health.

Finally, she shared her hopes for body positivity within the fitness community.

“I think we need to go back to appreciating that they’re all varieties are beautiful,” she said.
