Third of hard-up mums ration nappies and wipes amid cost-of-living crisis
ALMOST a third of mums ration nappies or wipes amid the cost-of-living crisis, a Sun poll reveals.
Half say they regularly run out of money for essentials.
It comes as Fabulous magazine launches our Baby, Bank On Us campaign, asking readers to donate money or supplies to baby banks.
Our poll of 2,000 mums of under-fives reveals they are resorting to desperate measures to make ends meet.
Some 27 per cent cut down on nappies or wipes, 39 per cent miss meals so their children can eat and 60 per cent struggle to sleep due to money concerns.
Worryingly, three per cent admitted their children did not have a safe place to sleep.

Almost a quarter (23 per cent) of mums have a disposable income of less than £100 a month.
Some 27 per cent have used a food bank, with 15 per cent visiting a baby bank.
Becca Lyon of Save the Children UK, a supporter of our campaign, says the findings are unacceptable.
She added: “Baby banks, which ensure young children don’t go without essentials, play a vital role for expectant and new parents.”
