Mum of Britain’s biggest family Sue Radford shares exactly how she keeps her 22 kids quiet at weekends… and it’s so easy
HAVING kids can be a challenge when it comes to keeping them entertained.
So mum-of-22 Sue Radford certainly has her work cut out for herself at weekends.
Thankfully Sue revealed her secret trick to getting a few hours peace in their Morecambe home - crafting.
The busy mum uploaded a photo to her Instagram Stories of her kids getting stuck into some arty fun.
This included colouring pens, stickers and some fun-looking packs.
Sue added: “Today is a crafting kind of day.”
More on the Radfords
Sue and Noel are parents to Chris, 33, Sophie, 29, Chloe, 27, Jack, 25, Daniel, 24, Luke, 22, Millie, 21, Katie, 19, James, 17, Ellie, 18, Aimee, 17, Josh, 15, Max, 14, Tillie, 12, Oscar, 11, Casper, 10, Hallie, seven, Phoebe, six, Archie, five, Bonnie, four, and Heidie, three.
Sadly the couple's 17th child Alfie was still born on July 6, 2014.
Sue, 48, and Noel, 52, got hitched when Sue was 17 and say their marriage has never had any serious difficulties, despite the constant stream of children.
Noel underwent a vasectomy during the ninth pregnancy but then had it reversed.
The couple have claimed Heidie is their last baby, after Sue has spent around 6,000 days of her life pregnant.
The family famously doesn’t rely on benefits and is supported by their pie shop business.
The Radfords, who live in a 10-bed former care home, often show off their millionaire lifestyle on Instagram.
The busy parents, who have Britain’s biggest family, certainly know a thing or two about keeping their bumper brood occupied when they aren’t at school.
On an episode of 22 Kids and Counting on Channel 5, Sue and Noel decide to host their own “Radford Olympics” on the nearby beach in Morecambe.
Sue said: “It’s a massive challenge in the school holidays to find things to keep the kids entertained.
“We’ve got teenagers and we’ve got toddlers, so we have to try and find things that will please everyone, which is really hard work.
“We always do like them to try new experiences, things that they haven’t done before.
