A third asked: "What the hell has happened to Lionel’s voice?"
"The sound is horrific at the concert. Lionel elongated a verse to let the music catch up," a fourth tweeted.
Another added: "In other news, what has happened to Lionel Richie? Has he died and been replaced? Sounds nothing like him."
While this person wrote: "Sounds like Shane Richie not Lionel, this is god awful."

Bridgerton star calls royals’ Buckingham Palace balcony appearance ‘terribly white’
Adjoa Andoh – known for her famous role of Lady Danbury in the Netflix series Bridgerton – received backlash after she called the royal family’s Buckingham Palace balcony appearance “terribly white.”
The actress was part of ITV’s guest panel during the coverage of King Charles III’s Coronation and said: “We have gone from the rich diversity of the Abbey to a terribly white balcony.
“I am very struck by that. I am also looking at those younger generations and thinking: ‘What are the nuances that they will inhabit when they grow?’”
Many viewers were left shocked by the comments with many asking was Andoh expected to see, considering that the Royal Family is “a white family.”
The Telegraph reported that Ofcom received several complaints about the comments while Andoh broke her silence during an appearance on BBC Radio 4, telling host Paddy O’Connell: “I think I upset a few people yesterday.
“I was talking about the day and how marvellous it was and then looking at the balcony at the end and suddenly going: ‘Oh it’s so white!’ because the day had been so mixed.
“I didn’t mean to upset anybody.”

William’s speech
The Prince of Wales gave a speech to the huge cheers that gathered at Windsor Castle to watch the Coronation Concert.
He explained how coronations are a “declaration of our hopes for the future,” recalling the words the late Queen said when she was crowned in 1953.
Prince William said: “I want to say a few words about my father, and why I believe this weekend is so important. But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t go on all night long.
“As my Grandmother said when she was crowned, coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future. And I know she’s up there, fondly keeping an eye on us. She would be a proud mother.
“For all that celebrations are magnificent, at the heart of the pageantry is a simple message. Service. My father’s first words on entering Westminster Abbey yesterday were a pledge of service.
“It was a pledge to continue to serve. Because for over 50 years, in every corner of the UK, across the Commonwealth, and around the world, he has dedicated himself to serve others, both current and future generations, and those whose memory must not be neglected.
“Pa, we are all so proud of you.”

Another added: “Thank you you smashed it! .”
Meanwhile, fans couldn’t get over how “adorable” Princess Charlotte was waving a Union Jack flag while singing to Katy Perry’s Roar.

“Good evening Your Majesties. Good evening Windsor!
“A huge thank you to everyone for making this such a special evening.
“I want to say a few words about my father, and why I believe this weekend is so important.
“But don’t worry, unlike Lionel, I won’t go on all night long.
“As my grandmother said when she was crowned, coronations are a declaration of our hopes for the future.

“Because for over 50 years, in every corner of the UK, across the Commonwealth and around the world, he has dedicated himself to serve others, both current and future generations, and those whose memory must not be neglected.
“Take the natural world. He warned us of the risks to our planet’s health long before it was an everyday issue.
“Or the Prince’s Trust. It has supported over a million young people, many from disadvantaged backgrounds, to realise their ambitions.
“And, perhaps most importantly of all, my father has always understood that people of all faiths, all backgrounds, and all communities, deserve to be celebrated and supported.
“Pa, we are all so proud of you.
“I also want to express my pride and gratitude for the millions of people who serve, in the forces, in classrooms, hospital wards and local communities.
“I wish I could mention you all. Your service inspires us. And tonight we celebrate you too.
“I commit myself to serve you all. King, country and Commonwealth.
“God save the !”
King will bring a ‘new flavour’ to the role of monarch
Lionel Richie has said he thinks the King will bring a “new flavour” and his “amazing sense of humour” to the role of monarch before taking to the stage at the Coronation Concert.
The US singer, who was one of the celebrity guests at the coronation service on Saturday, performed his hit tracks Easy and All Night Long at the celebratory event held in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday evening.
His appearance prompted a royal singalong and huge applause from the King and Queen who joined around 20,000 members of the public at the event to continue the celebrations after their crowning at Westminster Abbey.
Reflecting on Charles’ new role backstage ahead of his performance, Richie told the PA news agency: “I think he’s going to bring a new flavour.
“I’m going say this to you honestly, a lot of people don’t know this about him, but he has an amazing sense of humour that we haven’t seen yet, so I think we may in the future see a little bit of a glimpse of that – and of course, inclusiveness.”
Richie revealed that he immediately jumped at the chance to perform at the celebratory concert, saying: “The answer no matter what you had planned for that day, the answer is yes right away. And then the second thing that comes up is you start thinking: ‘Well, wait a minute, what am I going to wear?'”
