Mum praises ‘pollen trapping’ hay fever wipes that ‘gave her child his life back’ – and they’re only 89p
A PARENT has praised affordable hay fever wipes that she claimed gave her son his life back - and they're under a quid.
The arrival of spring and summer means loads of sun, boozy barbeques, holidays and - hay fever, which affects around 20 per cent of the population in the UK.
But with pollen counts currently high, one mum has come to rescue after finding an inexpensive method to prevent the sneezes and itching.
Impressed with the 89p Nuage-brand wipes, the mum even went as far as claiming the product gave her child ''his life back''.
Sharing her thoughts on Facebook, she wrote: ''Just a tip for anyone who suffers badly from hay fever.
“My son has tried everything going but these wipes gave him his life back!

“The wipes are soaked in peppermint and tea tree oil so [they] really soothe the skin and eyes and trap the pollen."
The product is available in budget retailer Savers, as well as numerous other stores, such as Sainsbury's, Asda, and The Range where it retails for £1.
For those who prefer doing their shopping online, the hay fever relief wipes can also be purchased on Amazon.
The retailer stocks a three-pack for £3.49 and a pack of five for £5.49.

"Bought for my dad who suffers from hay fever works really well,” another reviewer commented.
Their online description reads: “These incredible hay fever relief wipes from Nuage help trap pollen and prevent it from reaching the eyes, working miracles to relieve and prevent hay fever symptoms.
"These are the best and most effective option for instant hay fever relief, as they work straight away to relieve symptoms, unlike traditional hay fever medication."
Unfortunately, not everyone praised the inexpensive product, as a third shopper left a one-star review.
They explained: ''Quite soothing but didn't help with my hay fever."
The NHS advises not to:
- Keep fresh flowers in the house
- Smoke or be around people who are smoking
- Dry clothes outside as they can catch pollen
- Let pets into the house if possible as they can carry pollen indoors.
