MRS HINCH fans have shared an incredible hack to remove shop stickers quickly without leaving a trace behind - and it’ll only cost you 36p.

We’ve all been there, you’re desperate to get a gift for a pal at the last minute and pop into your local bargain shop, only to find that the sticker on the item feels glued on.

‘How am I going to get this off in one piece?’ you might think to yourself. 

Or perhaps you’re a doting parent who has a child that absolutely loves to decorate the windows with stickers, creating their own - annoying - masterpiece. 

Lucky for you, cleaning fans have shared the ultimate hack to getting rid of these pesky stickers in such an easy way, you’ll wonder how you never thought of it before.

“How do you remove the shop stickers that won’t budge from the glass within photo frames?” one person posed the question on the Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page.

And the answers did not disappoint as many suggested a handy product that’ll do the trick - and you most likely have it lying around the house already. 

“Hand gel,” one person wrote as another chimed: “Hand sanitiser.” 

Several others agreed and it just so happens that hand sanitiser can be bought for as little as 36p.

The alcohol found in hand sanitiser helps to cut through the adhesive layer, making it easier to take off compared to other solutions like oil. 

Rub a small amount onto the sticker, let it sit for a few minutes and scraping it off will be easy. 

Hand sanitiser wasn’t the only solution Hinchers came up with though as you can also try using a hair dryer to melt the adhesive layer down enough to get it off. 

Acetone, eucalyptus oil, WD40 and white spirit were also shared as suggestions on the helpful thread.
