A BRIDE has been left "absolutely heartbroken" after her friends snubbed her hen party.
The woman, from Scotland, said she called it a night at 9.30 after feeling mortified "sat on her own in all her bridal hen attire".
Taking to social media, she said: "I am overwhelmed with my feelings.
"I had my home hen do on Saturday and it was absolutely abysmal.
"Barely anyone showed up and I decided to call it a day at 9.30pm and head home.
"The lowest moment for me was when I was sat alone looking around seeing other groups of friends celebrating things and I was sat on my own mortified in all my bridal hen attire feeling so irrelevant and lonesome.
"I've never felt so pointless and embarrassed in all my life and it's triggered me mentally leaving me completely deflated and drained.
"I'm supposed to have an away hen next month but I can't bear the thought of a repeat of Saturday and feel like cancelling it."
The bride had invited lots of close friends to her home hen, but beyond her immediate family and bridal party, only one pal turned up - and she's a work client.
She said: "The rest was my mum, mother-in-law, two daughters and auntie.

"[They were there for] an afternoon part of the day as my mum's disabled and daughters are only 11 and 16.
"We were meant to be meeting up with about a dozen of my friends in town with places booked for 7pm.
"Most didn't show and was just myself, maid of honour, bridesmaid and my client.
"By 9pm was just three of us in total. The moment I was sat alone as my maid of honour was in the loo and client at the bar was the most embarrassing moment of my life which was when I gave up hope and decided to go home.
"The away hen has mainly different people other than bridal party so there really was no excuse for so many friends to let me down so badly on the home.
"I'm just feeling a bit wounded as some of these girls were considered very close friends and I wasn't expecting to be rejected so brutally without notice."
The devastated bride-to-be is now also dreading no-shows on her wedding day, which is just seven weeks away.
She revealed: "About eight who didn't show have invites to the full day and two to the evening so I'm nervous in case they do it then.
"I am seriously contemplating cancelling the whole thing and eloping to avoid the fear of being let down by people again and having it taint the day."
Social media users have rushed to sympathise with the woman, and urged her not to let 'friends' ruin her big day.
One said: "Oh this has made me really upset for you, I’m so sorry you were made to feel that way."
"Your big day will be magical enjoy your away hen."
A second wrote: "As bad as you may feel right now, trust me the people who did not turn up to your special night are not worth bothering about again.
"Unless they had a real valid excuse then it’s not acceptable to not make you aware they weren’t able to make it."
A third agreed: "So sorry to hear that. Don't let this ruin your excitement for your big day.
"The most important thing is you and your partner. I'm positive you'll have the most amazing day."
Meanwhile, a fourth added: "I'm so sorry this happened.
