JOHN Lewis may have declared that the floral midi dress is over, but shoppers are far from over the classic style at New Look.
Printed midi dresses, including floral patterns, are still a big hit for the retailer, with searches for the style up by 70 per cent at New Look.
This £19.99 green patterned dress has an empire line cut making it super-flattering, an elasticated back for extra comfort and a thigh slit for an added detail.
These types of dresses never seem to go out of fashion and are a big hit with celebs such as Holly Willoughby, Lorraine Kelly and Charlene White.

A TRENCH coat never goes out of style and, according to H&M, they’re still in high demand.
Perfect for this time of year, they’re a great lightweight jacket that can be styled up and down and H&M has plenty to choose from.

River Island: Cargo pants, £30
UTILITY is a big trend after being seen on the catwalks of Isabel Marant and Burberry.
It’s now all over the high street.
Cargo trousers in particular have been extremely popular, with River Island saying this £30 style is a top seller.
According to Google Trends, searches for the trousers are up 80 per cent in the past week – showing that demand is high.
The brand has a wide variety to choose from, including everything from classic khaki to pink and even camouflage.

M&S: Jeans, £22.50
M&S has had a big push on their denim in recent years and it seems to be paying off.
Their Sienna straight-leg jeans are proving very popular, with searches up 207 per cent last week.
For only £22.50, these are an absolute steal and come in an array of classic denim colours such as blue, grey and black.
M&S also have different leg length options from short to extra long, so you’ll be sure to find a pair that fits your shape.
Plus if straight isn’t your preferred choice their wide-leg jeans also continue to be their top-selling leg shape.

TU at Sainsbury’s: Blazer, £25
THIS blazer from TU at Sainsbury’s is currently their biggest seller.
Tailoring is currently up 34 per cent year on year for the brand.
Black is the most popular choice for its practicality and ability to style with most pieces in your wardrobe.
It does come in other brighter colours, though, such as pink, green and blue.
Only £25, it offers brilliant value, with the double-breasted front being super-flattering as it narrows in your waist to break up an otherwise boxy shape.

John Lewis: Breton cardi, £49
JOHN Lewis has given the classic Breton striped top a makeover – using the style to make a cosy cardigan with gold buttons and pockets.
Proving a hit with shoppers, the top has been one of the department store’s bestsellers so far this year.
