A DIY pro has revealed how she transformed her bathroom and made it look much more on-trend for just £15.
Jasmine shared how she gave her showerhead and taps an upgrade by spray painting them matte black - and people can't believe how luxe they look.
In a new TikTok, she said: “Budget bathroom fixture transformation.”
During the 20-second video, she explained how she got a professional-looking finish on her faucet and shower head.
She added: “Tape up what you don’t want painted.
“Prime them, let dry and spray paint with chosen colour.
“Leave to dry between coats.
“Cover as much as possible in plastic sheeting as there will be overspray.
“Priming gives it a base to grip to.
“Sand between coats.
“I’m using a black matte spray paint by Rustoleum.
“Give them two to three light coats to avoid drips, don’t expect full coverage first coat.
“Clean up with pure acetone."
She also revealed she gave her shower screen a makeover by recreating the crittal-look using black electrical tape.
She added: “I used electrical tape to achieve a faux crittal effect on the shower screen.
“And this is the result - ‘new’ bathroom for £15.”
Shoppers can get the spray paint from various retailers, including Amazon, with prices starting at £11.99.
Fans loved her quick and easy transformation, with the video gaining more than 202,600 likes and 3.6 million views.
