You have a top IQ if you can spot the human in this optical illusion – barely 1% of people can
IF you don’t know your IQ, you’re about to find out with a new optical illusion test.
A new mind-bending picture is inviting us to find a human being among a jungle full of bears – and it’s not as easy as you think.
Take a look at the scene below. At first glance it looks like a leafy jungle and a family of bears.
Some bears are roaming on the forest floor, while others are climbing the tall trees.
Apparently, only 1% have the eagle eye to spy the person within just 11 seconds and if you’re one of them, you have a high IQ.
It’s a puzzle for both adults and children, and asks us ‘Which of these isn’t a bear?’
If you’re having a tough time spotting the person in the picture, let us give you a hand.
There is a person, but they don’t look like one.
Look carefully at the top right hand side of the picture. You’ll see a little bear climbing the tree but not all is as it seems.
Take a look at the little lines on its back and a zipper below its head – it’s a human in a costume.
Not only does the image test your IQ, but it could prove just how good (or bad) your eyesight is, too.
The optical illusion has left thousands of us bewildered as we frantically look for a human body among the bears.
If you didn’t spot the human this time, don’t worry – there are more pictures out there to test your brain power.
According to scientific studies, the more we exercise our brains with these tricky puzzles, the smarter we tend to be.
Still confused? Well, optical illusions have given us some mind-bending insight into how our brains work.
Mixing combinations of colour, light and patterns – from swirls to checkerboard squares – can trick our brains into seeing something that isn’t there.
The more we challenge ourselves with these pictures, the better we become at perceiving things.
It’s fascinating how one person can look at a picture and see a rabbit, while another sees a duck.
Take a look around at other optical illusions and test your brain to its limit – you never know, you could be a genius.
