I tried out PrettyLittleThing’s new £40 activewear and I’ve never felt better at the gym

A WOMAN who tried out PrettyLittleThing's new activewear range says she has never felt better at the gym.

Bethan Shufflebotham, from Staffordshire, bought a black workout set and an oatmeal-coloured one from the online retailer, costing £40 each.

The "dog-loving, gig-going, photo-taking, gin-drinking" influencer previously hated going to the gym, when her attire consisted of old leggings and a baggy t-shirt.

But after buying the PrettyLittleThing clobber, Bethan now takes 5km runs in her stride.

She told : "Trust me when I say there isn't a confidence like the kind felt striding on the treadmill to a Lizzo playlist in a PrettyLittleThing fitness set."

Bethan first tried out the sculpting black set, which pairs £22 leggings with a £18 long-sleeved crop top.

She said: "They were both really stretchy, making them really easy to train in.

"I didn't find the leggings going baggy in the crotch during my workout, which was a real bonus as you can waste a lot of time in the gym trying to avoid a wardrobe malfunction."

Bethan added that the set concealed the sweat patches she was expecting.

Despite her rave review for the black set, her favourite set was in fact the ribbed oatmeal cycling shorts with matching long-sleeved crop top.

She said: "The shorts had an interesting feature that gave the illusion of a curvaceous bum!

"While one wouldn't typically like to draw attention to their derriere, I can't help but think it was the best my behind had ever looked."

Bethan was also full of praise for the "ruched bum detailing" and figure-skimming fit.

But the influencer slammed the absence of pockets from any of the PrettyLittleThing garments, which forced her to carry her phone, water bottle, ear phones and disinfectant around the gym.

It comes after a PrettyLittleThing superfan revealed the gross "extra goodie" she found inside her latest online order.

Grace claimed she found someone else's knickers in the leggings she ordered from the fast fashion website.

Another woman said she was actually injured when she tried on a black PrettyLittleThing jumpsuit.

Tara Constantine was badly scratched by a broken machine needle which was embedded in the garment.
