Parents slammed for giving their son a Star Wars inspired name as haters say it’s so bad it’s ruined their entire week

LOADS of parents name their newborn after something they really love - but most of them are more subtle about than this couple.

The Star Wars fans decided to go down the more untraditional route with their little one's name, leaving people stunned.

After posting a snap of the baby online it was quickly shared on Reddit where it was ruthlessly trolled.

The tot's name is Mandalorian Michael, after the character.

The parents must've really loved the Disney series, or maybe they're just huge Pedro Pascal fans?

But most Reddit users were in agreement that the name was a bad choice, especially as a first name,

One user quipped: "This ruined my week and the week just started."

And a second wrote: "Heads up to parents you can be a fan of something but not go this far.

"It's possible to like something but not name your kids after it especially if that name is Mandalorian.

"Please learn from all the Khaleesi's of the world. Especially when they could have just been named Dani/Dany because that's the nickname or short version of her actual name."

Meanwhile, someone else said they loved the name, but not for a baby, they said: "I used the name Mando, but it's on a dog."

And another jabbed: "This is NOT the way."

"I'd just call him “lil Man” forever," one user joked.

Someone else pointed out another flaw with the name, they explained: Also technically his name isn't actually Mandalorian that's just his title like how Dani was titled as Khalessi.

"It's Din Djarin according to google."
