BROTHERLY LOVE

I married my step-brother – we had a normal sibling relationship but then accidentally snogged and fell in love

But a night of drunken passion in 2021 saw the step-siblings realise they were in love with each other.

Smitten Matilda said: “There was definitely a built up of tension in our first kiss… in a good way.

“I thought it was kind of wrong because it felt so weird and I wasn’t expecting it.”

After accidentally waking up next to each other, she told Samuli that “nothing could ever happen” and they agreed to keep it their “little secret”.

Samuli added: “I couldn’t help it and so couldn’t you.

“I think we had the same feeling.”

The lovebirds - who live in Finland - agree they are soulmates and don’t care what people think about their dynamic.

They struggled to reveal the truth of their relationship in the early months but are now proud of their journey.

Their parents do not find the situation awkward and Samuli’s dad has even called him “a lucky guy”.

However, Matilda’s sister Minea is less supportive and has called their relationship “creepy”.

Matilda said: “We of course understand why she was a little bit concerned.”

Being told to get therapy and that they are sick are some of the many judgments the couple have faced.

They regularly share their dynamic on social media which has attracted a lot of attention.

Matilda said: “We have been getting a lot of negative comments - seek therapy, disgusting, out of all the people in the world you would choose your step-brother and it makes me sick.”

The pair want to buy a house, travel the world and hopefully have kids in the future.
