I’m a child pro & these are the best TV shows for your kids to watch – and what I’d always steer clear of

MOST parents will understand the lingering worry in the back of their mind that their child is having too much screen time, or that they’ve come to rely on the TV or iPad to help keep their kid occupied.

But one mum has shared how this can be a thing of the past if you ensure your little one is tuning into the right kinds of shows on the box.

Kelly Media Enos, who is a ‘gentle parenting’ pro, maintains that certain TV programmes can not only entertain, but will also teach, nurture and develop their emotions – taking away parents’ guilt once and for all.

The mum-of-one has already made quite a name for herself on social media by sharing how she is a ‘gentle parent’ to her son George, three.

has amassed 453.6k followers and counting, and she regularly shares the ups and downs of motherhood and how she goes about it.

She explains: “Gentle parenting approaches discipline in families by using positive language, saying ‘no’ less, avoiding ‘a naughty step’.

“Instead it’s about helping your toddler understand their feelings, setting clear boundaries.

“Changing a few things you say to be more positive can help you find out what works for you. It’s not a magic wand that works overnight!”

And the TikTok star has exactly the same mindset when it comes to getting the most out of the often overwhelming choice of children’s TV programmes parents can choose from.

Here, Kelly exclusively reveals to Fabulous her go-to guide on what children should be watching, plus she lifts the lid on the two shows she wouldn’t recommend her son – or others his age – watch under any circumstance.

TWO CHILDREN’S TV SERIES TO AVOID

COCOMELON
