In a new video, she revealed how sticking a pantyliner inside the waistband of her son’s nappy stops it from leaking when he sleeps on his front.

These are available from various retailers including Amazon, and using one a night will cost you just 4p.

She said: “This is the best ever hack I stole from the Gentle Sleep Specialist.

“For anyone who’s a tummy sleeper. Paddy’s was always wetting through.

“You want to turn your nappy inside out and on the front of the top, you want to stick a pantyliner onto it.

“Flip it back around, pop it on, and no more wetting through.”

Below the video, she added: “It’s so funny because you can see in the morning how much wee it actually absorbs it’s so puffy.

“We use a Poise regular panty liner because it’s super thin and lightweight, so he can’t feel it.”

Fans loved the clever hack, with the video gaining more than 2,400 likes and 643,000 views.

In the comments, other parents shared their reactions, with one writing: “This is such a great idea. My now 4-year-old would do this too when little and it was really annoying having to wash sheets every single morning.

“I’ll be using this hack with my 10-month-old. Thanks for sharing!

Another said: “Great idea. We double nappy for that reason but maybe this option is easier.”

A third wrote: “Best hack ever! I have been doing this for months !!”

Someone else shared their own hack, adding: “If you have a girl, size up 1-2 sizes and get boy nappies. Worked a treat for us!”

Another commented: “My son leaked through even with a sized-up nappy. I started putting a cloth nappy cover on and that fixed it. A reusable solution so no added landfill waste.”
