AN INTERIOR design whizz has taken to Instagram to reveal three easy ways you can make your home look way more expensive - and people can’t believe they didn’t think of them.
Chantel Mila, known online as , regularly shares cleaning and interior design hacks with her 1.5 million followers.
In a new video, she shares some inexpensive ways to make your home look more luxe - and that includes hiding those annoying phone chargers.
She said: “Treat yourself to inexpensive luxuries because sometimes it’s the small things that make a big difference.
“One, if you have chargers and cords on your bedroom floor, place a stick-on hook on the side of your bedsides to hang these up and keep them organised.
“Two, keep your clothes and wardrobes smelling fresh by making scent bags with Epsom salt and essential oils.
“These are great for your wardrobe or linen cupboard to keep them smelling fresh.”
During her Instagram reel, she is seen pouring a handful of Epsom salt into a small drawstring canvas bag.
She then pours a few drops of essential oil onto the salt before tying the bag shut.
Mila then hangs this on one of the hangers in her wardrobe.
“Three, boil lemon, rosemary and vanilla on your stovetop to make your whole home smell like Williams-Sonoma - you guys know how much I love this one!
“It’s such a simple way to add natural fragrance to your home.”
Alongside this tip, Mila shares a clip of her putting water, fresh lemon slices, fresh rosemary and vanilla essence into a pan and placing it on her stove to heat through.
Fans loved Chantel’s quick and easy tips, with the video gaining more than 43,000 likes and 798,000 views.
In the comments, her followers shared their reactions, with one writing: “Oh, why have I never thought of the hooks to hide the charger (and stop it from hitting the floor every single time I unplug it - great tip!”
Another said: “I’m going to try the lemon, rosemary & vanilla (have to wait till Friday, payday..lol).”
A third wrote: “BRB off to buy some hooks.”
