AN ONLINE influencer has shared her Skims haul, which included the famous micro thong.
YouTube creator Athena said the high price tag on the skimpy Skims underwear is "laughable."
For her first look, the influencer tried on the $48 in the color fuchsia.
"I’m 5’7” so it fits at a perfect length. If you’re shorter it is going to be a little bit longer," she said in .
Athena explained that the dress highlighted her stomach "pouch."
However, she added that the top of the dress was "so supportive" that she didn't need to wear a bra.
"The straps are adjustable. I think it is pretty cute," she said.
Athena compared the fit of the hem to The Little Mermaid.
The YouTuber concluded: "Overall, I like it. I don’t think it’s sheer. I don’t think it’s going to show underwear lines as much as a lighter color would."
Athena also modeled the lounge long slip dress in a shimmering gray.
She said: "It actually feels a little bit better than the pink one, it feels more structured."
The influencer pointed out another difference between the dresses.
"I do feel like this one feels a little bit longer for some reason," she said.
"It hits right above the foot and I feel like in the summer it will be a little bit annoying."
Athena also explained that the dress wasn't as sheer as she had thought it might be.
"Overall, I do think it’s really cute, it’s really flattering," she said.
"I do like this one a little more than the pink one I think just because it’s more of a neutral color."
Next, the YouTuber shared her thoughts on the $28 , now available for $8.
"For $28, this would have been ridiculous. Even for $8, I think this is laughable," Athena said.
Holding up the underwear for viewers to see, she said: "It doesn’t look like it would be comfortable. There’s barely any coverage.
"It kind of looks like a facemask."
Finally, the influencer showed her subscribers the , $8.
"This one seems a little bit more worth it. I really liked it because of this V shape," she explained.
Modeling the underwear, Athena concluded: "I do find these comfortable. Overall, I really do like it. I like that the lettering isn’t in your face."
YouTube users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the haul.
"Anything you try looks great on you," wrote one impressed viewer.
Another subscriber agreed that Athena was working the Skims looks. They said: "D**n girl, you look great."
"Just breathtakingly beautiful. Amazing video," a third person commented.
