THRONE A WOBBLY

No one has emerged unscathed from Harry’s memoir as Royal Family’s popularity plunges – here’s who came out worst

A SHOCKING new poll has revealed which royal has seen their popularity plunge the most after Prince Harry published his tell-all memoir Spare.

No member of the Firm was spared a massive slump in public approval ratings since December.

But one royal has seen their popularity knocked for a spare by the memoir.

Prince William saw his approval ratings fall by a whopping 8% after Harry revealed their Cain-and-Abel fights.

He remains the most popular royal, with three in five Brits approving of him.

Only a quarter of Brits view Prince Harry favourably, according to Ipsos Mori polling.

His popularity fell by 7% after he revealed his long-running feud with his father Prince Charles and brother Prince William.

Harry's wife Meghan Markle is viewed favourably by fewer than a fifth of Brits.

Her popularity only fell by 5% after Spare revealed her tearful arguments with the royals.

Unsurprisingly, the least popular royal of all is the disgraced Prince Andrew.

Only one in ten Brits approve of Andrew, who fell from grace over his dealings with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Spare largely ignores Andrew, whose popularity has only fallen by 2% since its publication.

William's wife Kate matched Harry with a drop of 7%.

She is now no more popular than Princess Anne, with 60% of Brits approving of the two royal women.

The scandal-proof Anne was spared any blushes by Harry's memoir, and her popularity only fell by 4%.

Perhaps surprisingly, King Charles's popularity only fell by 3%, even as Harry railed against his father's parenting.

The British public is evenly divided in its view of Charles, with just over half viewing the Marmite King favourably.

His wife Camilla was the only royal not to suffer a fall in popularity.

Her approval rating remains level at 38%, as Prince Harry's barbs about her failed to make an impact.

The Royal Family as a whole was largely undamaged by Harry's revelations, with 53% of Brits still approving of it.

Its popularity only dropped by 1% as Harry praised the late Queen and insisted he is still a monarchist.

Ipsos Mori polled 1000 British adults aged between 18 and 75 online over January 10-11.

Kelly Beaver, the CEO of Ipsos, told the : "The immediate impact on public opinion should not be exaggerated – and it should be noted is partly a return from the uplift in public sympathy after the sad passing of the Queen.

"Britons are still much more positive than negative towards the King, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Princess Royal, and towards the Royal Family as a whole, and views towards the institution as a whole are so far little changed.

"While the stories may have challenged the public's views towards the individuals involved, the monarchy itself endures for now."

The polling comes after Harry admitted he took cocaine aged 17 to "make him feel different" in an explosive section of Spare.

He also claimed that his brother Prince William "knocked him to the floor" during an argument about Meghan.

Harry said he was visibly injured after William ripped his necklace and threw him onto a dog bowl.

He also alleged that William and Kate encouraged him to wear his infamous Nazi uniform to a fancy dress party.
