She posted a picture of the set along with the discount sticker on the box as proof of purchase.

She said: "Grabbed this bargain at the Glasgow Ikea yesterday and built it this morning.

"It is absolutely perfect, no scratches or wobbly. It is £10 at the Glasgow store. They had a huge pile."

The shopper encouraged others to go and do the same and plenty liked and commented on the post to say that they would head down to the Swedish store.

One person said: "Need to see if they have any."

While another suggested online the table sets are priced at £27 but Jennifer insisted there were plenty in her store and posted a picture of the kids' furniture all stacked up.

In other Ikea news, we told how a handy Instagrammer revealed her top tip for transforming two inexpensive glasses into a stunning centrepiece.

She started with two  vases that cost just £1.25 each.

The interiors expert then sprayed them both all over with white spray paint in matt.

After leaving them to dry, she turned one over and applied super glue to the bottom.

She then stuck the second on top of the first to create a tall, unique vase.

Hanneke showed off the gorgeous creation with some dried flowers on her chic sideboard.
