I’m 22 and find dating horrific – I want to get married, so I’m asking Married at First Sight experts to pick my husband
A SCOTS singleton has told how she’s applying for Married at First Sight after growing tired of the deadbeats she’s dated.
Stunning Diaine, 22, prefers to look on the bright side of life despite being unlucky in love.
The project manager, from Edinburgh, understands why people might think it’s a mistake to join the ranks of the hit reality show and get hitched to someone she’s never met.
But she reckons it might be the best way to find a man she can call a keeper.
She says: “I’ve had a horrific dating experience so far.
“I’ve been single for about five years and seeing people on and off.

“I’ve been cheated on twice, the second time was last year.
“The guy did everything you could to woo me, took me on holiday and completely lovebombed.
“But he was still talking to people behind my back and I had screenshots sent to me by a different girl.”
Diaine, who is half Brazilian, likes the idea of the popular programme that sees experts match couples based on a number of factors.

Contestants then agree to get married blindly before deciding whether to remain together after six weeks of filming.
She adds: “I know I’m terrible at picking them so the most logical way is to let an expert decide.
“I think subconsciously I pick people that are trouble so hopefully they can avoid that on my behalf.
“It doesn’t really make me scared because I know how badly I select them.
“It can’t be much worse If I was to go down the aisle and marry someone.
"And also if I’m dating someone, I only want to invest time into them if I can see myself getting married to them.
“So I’d rather just get married anyway and work on it from there.
“I understand I’m only 22 but the thought of going back to dating sounds horrible.
“I’d rather just find my person and be sorted, I just can’t be bothered anymore.”
