The children’s names most likely to make it onto Santa’s ‘nice list’ – and it’s good news if you’ve got a Sophie
WITH just eight sleeps to go, we’re all wondering what Santa’s going to leave us under the Christmas tree this year.
That’s if we’ve managed to make it onto the nice list.
According to new research, it’s not just down to good behaviour who makes it onto Santa’s ‘nice list’.
Instead, new data has shown that there are some names that are more likely to end up in Santa’s good books.
Real Santa Letters looked at more than 700 names, and have now revealed the top 20 girls’ and boys’ names most likely to make the cut.
Taking the top spot were the names Sophie and Charlie.
The other girls’ names which ranked pretty high are Adie, Arian, Baillie, Charleen, Hollie-Rae, Jaylee, Kade, Kristie, Melrose, and Mylor.
For boys’, it’s Braelyn, Broc, Ged, Graydon, Kiernan, and Teigan.
Boys named Ethan and Jack, and girls called Isabelle and Maisie are also likely to get everything on their Christmas wishlist.
As reported in , Real Santa Letters worked it out by looking back through their records and seeing which children have received a Real Santa Letter.
They then compared this with baby name data in England and Wales, looking at the 50 most popular baby names from the last ten years.
A North Pole insider commented: “From their workshop in the North Pole, Santa makes the all-important gift lists for children of all ages.
“With a little help from one or two elves, Santa draws up the nice list and makes sure that his workshop has a fantastic range of toys and gifts ready to be delivered on Christmas Day.
