A ROYAL expert has revealed what they think is the secret reason behind Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s Netflix documentary.

Biographer Angela Levin believes there is now “no going back” for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the second trailer for the bombshell six-part programme was released.

In the newly released promo, Harry, 38, appears to take a swipe at the Royal “hierarchy”.

The documentary is more than likely to cause shockwaves across the globe and the Royal Family - with the trailer hinting the couple have taken aim at The Firm.

Prince Harry can be heard saying: "It's really hard looking back on it and thinking 'what on earth happened?'.

He then adds: "There's a hierarchy of the family."

Reacting to the new trailer, Ms Levin said: “Meghan and Harry are all out to destroy the monarchy and everybody in it.

“Perhaps with the aim of becoming King and Queen themselves - it's never going to happen, it's a fairy tale.”

The author of Camilla: From Outcast to Queen Consort added: “It is no going back for Harry now. I think it's already past that line.”

She said: “Where's his proof? Look at Harry, really absolutely slicing people into small pieces.

“If you're going to make statements like that you need to have written proof.

“It's beyond shocking. How much more bashing can he do? Hasn't he done enough? I'm fed up with it.

“It puts the royal family in the most awkward spot. They don't want to get embroiled in a live row - especially not with someone who is in the family.”

Elsewhere in the trailer, the duke said: "The pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution, it's a feeding frenzy."

Harry then continues with an apparent reference to his late mother, Princess Diana, saying: "I was terrified, I didn’t want history repeating itself."

Meghan can also be heard saying: "I realised they'll never protect you."

Ms Levin though laid into the pair saying: “It's all made up nonsense isn't it? Meghan wants to be like Diana but it's a complete nonsense.

“Diana loved the monarchy. She was brought up with it and she was very respectful.

“Before she died she made peace between her and Charles.

“With Meghan is all about me, me, me.”

Ms Levin revealed that when she interviewed Harry he told her he felt his mother was still guiding him on what charities he should follow and how he should live his life, adding he felt he had a strong contact with her.

Netflix today confirmed when the documentary will hit screens.

Its Twitter caption read: "Harry & Meghan. A Netflix Global Event.

"Volume I: December 8. Volume II: December 15."

It comes just days after the streaming giant released a 59-second glimpse into what the docuseries will include.

The first trailer revealed never before seen photos and videos of the pair - including Meghan crying, and she and Harry dancing.

It also seemed to offer a sneak peek inside Frogmore Cottage - which the couple called home before Megxit.

However, The Sun exclusively revealed yesterday that one of the photos included in the trailer - of them apparently being hounded by the press - was from a Harry Potter premiere years before they met.

It has already been slammed by Piers Morgan as "repulsive", who also branded the trailer "hypocritical".
