I’m gonk obsessed and got a huge haul of gonk bargains from The Range and Home Bargains – I got mugs, crackers and more

WITH December just around the corner, many of us will be starting to get our decorations out and preparing to put our Christmas trees up.

It seems that the gonks are ready to come out for the festive period and one gonk obsessed woman has shared her epic gonk haul on Facebook, leaving many very impressed. 

The Scandinavian novelty creatures have become a staple Christmas decoration in recent years and are clearly here to stay, but while many people will place a gonk on their fireplace or table top, it appears that one woman, Lisa O’Connor, has gone one step further with her huge haul.

Gonks are a mix of a gnome and hobgoblin, with long bushy beards and knitted hats and are considered to be the Nordic version of Santa Claus.

Posting on a public Facebook page , which has 43.8k members, gonk fan Lisa revealed that she got some amazing gonk bargains from The Range and Home Bargains.

She posted an image with the caption ‘So I finally gave in and went to The Range, it’s amazing how much stuff jumped into the trolley, oh and then I fell into Home Bargains too’.

If you’re a fan of either of these bargain high-street chains, you will understand that you might go in looking for one specific thing, but it’s highly likely that you will leave the shop, half an hour later, with a basket full of brilliant bargain buys.

And that’s exactly what happened to Lisa - as she finished her shopping spree with armloads of gonk goodies.

Lisa shared an image of her impressive haul - with stockings, mugs, crackers and more - all of which are gonk-ified. 

She even got her hands on gonk oven gloves, a gonk snow globe, gonk napkins and gonk paper plates too. 

But that wasn’t all - Lisa is going to share the gonk love this Christmas, with her newly-purchased gonk wrapping paper and gonk festive gift bags.

To make the haul that bit more impressive, Lisa revealed that her gonk goodies were all extremely cheap too.

She said that she got the set of ten gonk crackers from The Range for only £6.99 and the oven gloves, also from The Range, for just £3.99.

Facebook users were very impressed with Lisa’s gonk haul and many took to the comments to express this. 

One person said: “That’s a fab haul you’ve got there”. 

Another added: “I want the oven gloves”.

A third commented: “Think you're all gonked out”. 

Meanwhile, someone else posted: “Hmmm I'm detecting a slight addiction here!!” to which Lisa joked “Do you think so??” 

Whilst another user posted: “I am like this when I go to the range and b&m, go in for a couple of things then end up with a full trolley lol”.
