Self-described "neat freak" Em is a mum to a six-year-old daughter, and told us: "I don’t like things out of place, but I'll never spend more than 5 minutes giving my little girl’s room a tidy".

First up, Em - who shares her cleaning tips on her - suggests using IKEA'S Kallax storage in your kids' bedrooms.

"All my daughters' toys have a Kallax insert," she explained.

"We have one for Barbies, Sylvanian families, Barbie house accessories, dolly clothes etc.

"When she plays she will pull one out, and then it’s a case of throwing everything back in and putting the insert back."

She also uses under bed storage boxes for books, meaning she can just grab them off the floor and put them in the under bed box.

For soft toys, Em suggests using a laundry basket.

"We have a huge laundry basket for teddy bears and soft toys," she said.

"Any found laying around the floor get thrown into this.

"It’s in the corner so it’s easy to throw them in from the other side of the room!"

And Em's last suggestion is to encourage the children to join in.

"When it’s tidy up time, we make it a game," she said.
