I share my name with a tasty snack – people have mocked me my whole life, they say I’d taste great with cheese
WHILE people named Colby and Brie share their names with types of cheese, one Reddit user's food-inspired name is not quite as common.
The deliciously-named user shared how people mocked his name and said he would go nice with some melted cheese.
A Reddit user detailed how he was over the shortened version of his name, which reminded everyone of a tasty snack.
The original poster explained that his name is Ignacio, but that he goes by Nacho.
"This means all my life I've had to deal with people saying I'd taste great with cheese," Nacho wrote.
However, the Reddit user said he didn't mind the jokes and actually really likes his nickname.
"My ID card says 'Ignacio' because that's the formal form of it, and by the time I was born it wasn't allowed to register the informal version 'Nacho'. But no one ever has called me Ignacio," he detailed in his post.
According to the New York Times, Ignacio Anaya is credited with in the border city of Piedras Negras in Coahuila, Mexico.
Reddit users took to the comments section to share their thoughts on the interesting name.
"I was an au pair to a kid named Nacho and when I was first talking to the family I judged his parents pretty hard. [Then] they told me his real name is Ignacio," said one reader.
