You have the eyes of a hawk if you can spot the sneaky cat amongst the ruins – it’s hiding in plain sight

A SNEAKY feline has left people baffled after it managed to camouflage itself perfectly among a set of ruins.

The image that was shared on Reddit shows three collapsed columns with a partly built wall and window as the cat hides in plain sight.

The caption, "Did not see it till [sic] got home', gives little away and many were left wondering what they were searching for at all.

Some believed there could be a ghostly apparition hiding in the image and some thought they had spotted a skull.

One commented: "Viewing it zoomed out on my phone, I thought that was a skull coming out of the middle column.

"Especially because the left column looks like it has a skeleton etched into it too. Anyone else seeing that?"

Another added: "I was looking for a ghost."

But the image actually shows a very small black and white cat having a snooze on the remains of the middle column.

Stunned cat spotters commented: "I see the cute little guy."

Another added: "Hello Kitty!"

Others tried to work out the location of the ruins with one Reddit user suggesting it could be Italy.

When asked where they think the cat was spotted, they reply, "Tempio di Apollo, Siracusa, Sicilia, Italia, Europa..."

The famous site, which translates to the Temple of Apollo, can be dated back to the 6th century.

It was once a church, a mosque, and then barracks for the Spanish military.

Other cheeky cats have been spotted in obvious places such as living rooms and gardens.
