Oprah Winfrey hopes Queen’s death helps Harry & Meghan ‘make peace’ with royals after bombshell interview caused chaos
OPRAH Winfrey has said she hopes the Queen’s death will help Harry and Meghan "make peace" with the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reunited with the Prince and Princess of Wales over the weekend as they grieved the late monarch together.
In a show of unity, the brothers joined their wives together to speak with mourners outside Windsor Castle.
They put their differences aside after years of speculated rifts - which Meghan and Harry's Oprah interview appeared to exacerbate last year.
And Oprah Winfrey, 68, has said she hopes the loss of the Queen will help bring the family back together.
The chat show queen told : "I think in all families - you know, my father passed recently, this summer - and when all families come together for a common ceremony, the ritual of, you know, burying your dead, there’s an opportunity for peacemaking."

The Fab Four's relationship appeared to fracture after Meghan and Harry announced they were stepping away from their royal duties in 2020.
In an explosive interview with Oprah last March, Meghan then told how she had suicidal thoughts after joining the Firm.
She also said a member of the Royal Family raised concerns about the colour of Archie's skin - and "what that might look like" for the family.
Rumours of Meghan and Kate's speculated row was also addressed, with Meg claiming Kate made her cry - not the other way around.

The Queen died peacefully at the age of 96 last week.
William's official spokesperson confirmed he invited Harry and Meghan to look at the tributes with him on Saturday.
It is understood he believed it was an important show of unity at a difficult time for the family.
And fans cheered as the two couples reunited after months to look at tributes.
The family are expected to come together again at the Queen's funeral next week, for which Palace planners are still putting the finishing touches together.

However, The Sun understands there will be discussions about whether the brothers could again be seen at each other’s sides.
They were separated by cousin Peter Phillips as they followed Prince Philip’s cortege at his funeral 17 months ago, during the height of their feud.
