NIGHTMARE NEIGHBOUR

My bossy neighbour banned me from cutting down MY trees – I took revenge but now they’re saying I can’t BBQ either

A WOMAN has told of her anger after her bossy neighbours banned her from cutting down her trees and are now refusing to let her BBQ in her own garden.

The anonymous woman took to and explained how she bought a "beautiful house in the most perfect village."

She went onto say that everyone is "absolutely lovely" - except for her next door neighbours.

In the post, she explained: "The husband has told me that his wife wants absolute privacy whenever she is home.

"Which is bizarre because they have an extension with windows which look out into our gardens.

So when we moved in they didn’t want us to cut down our trees. We cut them to our preferences and they were not happy - 9ft our side."

The woman went onto say that her neighbours have now taken a massive issue with them having a BBQ in their own garden.

"They say we should only cook when they are not home: they are veggie. I have obvs laughed at this," she commented.

But they are very vocal when I'm out in the garden doing anything now. Also, they have a dog that howls all b****y day."

The frustrated woman went onto ask social forum users whether they think she's being unreasonable.

The post has since been inundated with responses - with many taking to the comments section to offer their advice.

"I'm guessing the previous owner was a quiet little old lady and they don't like an actual normal family living next door. They are being territorial. Take no notice," wrote one.

A second suggested: "Tell them to p*** off."

A third penned: "I'm not fond of bbq smells though I wouldn't complain. But "whenever the weather allows" could mean daily! They are smelly and (sometimes) smoky.

"The other comments about privacy just sound weird."

Meanwhile, a fourth commented: "Ignore them, do your thing. They sound a bit bats**t to me."

Another agreed: "Being totally unreasonable it’s your home, ignore."

And one more social media user added: "Ignore ignore ignore. They sound very precious and demanding."
