But luckily for you, Mrs Hinch fans have come to the rescue and have shared their quick, simple trick for getting stained white clothes looking bright again. 

Not only is it an ‘easy’ method, but don’t worry, you won’t have to worry about spending loads of money on fancy cleaning products.

Ever since cleaning sensation Mrs Hinch, otherwise known as Sophie Hinchliffe, took to Instagram, cleaning tips and tricks have become more and more popular.

There’s even Facebook groups where cleaning fanatics share their hacks for getting their homes and clothes spotless.

And the latest hack focuses on removing stubborn stains from white clothes so that they look brand new again. 

Posting on Mrs Hinch Cleaning Tips Facebook page, one woman, named Susan Bagley-Clarke asked Mrs Hinch fans: “How can I get grease from a curry out of a white top please?”

Fortunately, Mrs Hinch fans were quick to reveal their washing tips and tricks. 

There were a variety of different techniques suggested, but the most popular responses suggested using cleaning product .

One woman said: “Washing up liquid or Elbow Grease spray then once washed hang in direct sunlight as any remaining stain will vanish from the sunlight.”

Another replied: “Elbow Grease spray but don’t panic when the stain turns pink, wash and hang in the sunshine!”

A third commented: “I had this. I used Elbow Grease which turned it pink!

“But after a wash, I hung it outside in sunlight and it completely disappeared.”
