The mum manages to spend only £1.33 on her family-of-four a day by sticking to yellow labels, coupons, and is always looking for the next bargain.

Stacey, who shares tips on her Instagram page, eating fresh on a budget,  confessed the rising cost of living has "affected me massively" and that she can spend just over £1 per person.

The summer holidays are an expensive time for most families trying to keep their kids entertained.

But she revealed there are plenty of fun things to do with the kids during the summer holidays without spending a lot of money.

After her electric bill rose from £102 to £152 per month as well as her gas bill shooting up from £91 to £144 she began shopping on a strict budget, reports .

She will spend £1.33 on herself, partner Kyle, and both her children totalling £5.32 a day.

"Having around £27 a week left over is a struggle, but I make it work and try to save what I have", she said.

But the savvy mum has come up with plenty of fun activities for the kids that don't cost a thing.

From upcycling items out of your recycling bin to use as art tools, and hosting outdoor tent sleepovers for the kids using household items.

"Emily and Isabelle [her children] absolutely love the fun activities we do. They love the outdoors but also love being indoors for family days and craft days too.

"People who are nervous, that's exactly how I was because I didn't like change. People can easily get stuck in their ways and they are scared to change, however, I'm always here to help people no matter what time I will always help my best."

"The rising costs of everything have affected me massively and have given me more of a drive to cut costs even more than I already have."

With kids out of school it also means parents are spending more time in the kitchen cooking, but Stacey revealed some money saving hacks to cut costs and reduce waste.

Stacey has four freezer and swears by bulk buying food to reduce costs and freezing it so it lasts longer.

She added: "I like to shop around for yellow sticker items, and I've managed to get everything from a turkey crown reduced from £40 for £1.99, to milk for 13 pence and fresh chicken for £1.12."

The mum also uses recycled glass jars to preserve leftover vegetables- using a little vinegar.

Stacey added: "I can make my family meals from as little as £1.33 per head a day.

"A pack of reduced mince costs around £1.88, a big bag of Jersey potatoes cost 90p, other reduced vegetables like carrots can cost 20p a bag, or even less than that if you get a single carrot.

"Adding the ingredients all together with some leftover gravy from a slow cooker pork roast, and it costs about £3 altogether, and can go quite far if you bulk it up with vegetables."
