I’m a plumber – a cheeky customer asked if she can pay me in another way, I was floored
A PLUMBER has revealed some of the most common things he hears from customers - and one was particularly racy.
Fraser Hoehle, 28, runs his own firm NRG Plumbing and Heating, in Denny, Stirlingshire, and encounters all sorts of people on a daily basis.

But there are a few lines he knows to expect wherever he goes because he’s listened to them so often.
Taking to TikTok, the tradesman let slip some of the questions and declarations that wind him up the most.
He wrote: “Things people have said to me as a plumber.”
And the first one left a lot to the imagination as he posted a winking face and devil horns emoji alongside the question: “Do you take other forms of payment?”

He also noted “excuse the mess, we are just redecorating and “I could do it but I don’t have the time, I used to be on the tools you know” are other common phrases he hears.
And his fellow tradespeople appeared to sympathise with him.
One said: “Excuse the mess we’re redecorating is daily.”
Another added: “Should only take you five minutes is my pet hate.”

Fraser previously revealed an easy way to make sure a tradesman goes above and beyond for a customer.
He admitted there’s certain qualities which set people apart and make him go the extra mile to make sure they’re happy.
The revelation came after a fan of his TikTok account asked how often he’s offered food and drink.
Fraser said: “Not all customers offer us cup of teas or coffee or cook us lunch.
“But when they do cook us lunch, if you phone me on the weekend and say ‘Fraser, I’ve not been well, could you get my weekly shopping?’, I would be there.
“You’ve went a long walk and you need your feet massaged? I’ll be there.
“Your husband’s had a s***e day at work and his boss is being a w****r, I’ll set him on fire for you.
“I’m only kidding, I wouldn’t do that. But the reality is if you go the extra mile for us to cook us lunch, we will go above and beyond to help you out.
“Whether it’s your family, it’s a friend, whatever. Being honest there’s a lot of times we feel as a tradesman undervalued.
