IT'S a well-known fact that Kate Middleton and Prince William are huge tennis fans and attend the Wimbledon finals every year without fail.

But for the first time ever, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have brought their eldest son Prince George with them to watch Nick Kyrgios and Novak Djokovic battle it out on Centre Court.

As they arrived at the Championships this afternoon, Kate and George were filmed getting out their car and greeting members of Wimbledon staff.

As this is the eight-year-old's first ever Wimbledon visit, Kate took the time to introduce him to each person waiting at the doors for them.

The Duchess - who is Wimbledon's royal patron - gently placed her arm on George's shoulder as he shook hands with a security guard.

The mum-of-three then walked towards chairman Ian Hewitt - who bowed for the future King.

Introducing her son, the Duchess said: ";This is George."

Then addressing George, she continued: "This is Ian. Ian is in charge of everything, George."

Sharing the clip with her 12,000 followers,  wrote: "The Duchess of Cambridge guiding Prince George through meeting Wimbledon staff on his first ever visit! So sweet."

One fan replied: "I like how they're educating and training Prince George!"

Duchess of Sussex's biographer slams Prince Charles

Omid Scobie criticised the decision to release details of Prince Charles first meeting with his granddaughter and the release of Palace financial statements.

He wrote for Yahoo! News: "You see when the Prince of Wales was forced to announce via his spokesman that he will never again accept plastic bags filled with $500 notes for his charities, one of his senior aides also briefed journalists with adorable details of the heir's first time meeting granddaughter Lilibet last month."

Sussexes could turn down big invite

Royal commentator Neil Sean told his YouTube channel that Meghan and Harry are set to turn down an invite to Balmoral.

He said: “According to that good source, even the allure of Balmoral with all that wonderful air, highlands, treats, and of course spending time with the world’s most interesting woman, in my opinion, seemingly they are too busy."

He continued: “It looks like Harry and Meghan will have to politely decline the invitation to go to Balmoral to spend some time with our gracious monarch.

“According to that source, the real reason is that as we know, Prince Harry is gearing up to release his tell-all book in the autumn.

“This could prove really tricky and thorny, couldn’t it?

"Because I’m sure that would be brought up as a topic, rightly so.

“And if of course you’re sitting opposite your grandmother and you have to explain exactly what you’re planning to do, or what you’re planning to say then it creates a very thorny situation.

“So of course, Harry and Meghan have decided that the easy way out of this is to sadly not attend.”

Duke and Duchess of Gloucester celebrate anniversary

The Royal Family Twitter account have congratulated The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester as they celebrate their Golden wedding anniversary.

The official Twitter account said: "Happy Golden Wedding Anniversary to The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester!

"To mark 50 years since their wedding day, a new photograph of the couple has been released, taken in the garden of their home at Kensington Palace earlier this week."

Prince Harry and Meghan can't keep kids 'cooped up forever'

A royal writer has said that it is time to give the children more experience of the outside world.

The Sussexes have a very strong home compound, with sprawling acres of land, play areas and a pool.

With such amazing facilities, why would you ever want to leave?

Daniela Elser wrote on the NZ Herald website: "A huge back yard, children's playhouse, tennis court and a pool might provide more than enough entertainment and space for little ones to play and roam safety way from the gaze of the public, and press, but the couple can't keep Archie and Lili cooped up at home forever."

Archie and Lilibet now 'valuable prey' in US

Australian royal writer Daniela Elser warned Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left themselves open to being snapped by paparazzi than if they were in the UK.

Writing for NZ Herald, Ms Elser said: “Harry and Meghan might not be enjoying Beyonce-levels of popularity (the most recent polling shows that less than half of Americans view them favourably) but there is no end to the fascination with the nation's very own branch of the Royal Family.

“The whole family is, in short, valuable prey for anyone who might come across the family out and about.

“What will it mean for Archie and his little sister Lilibet to grow up in a country where there is a ready market for iPhone snaps of them?

They headed to Jackson Hole in Wyoming for the parade and celebrations.

Meghan had invited her old friend Heather Dorak, who is the founder of Pilates Platinum.

Heather also used to write for Meghan's now closed blog, The Tig.

Win for Prince Harry during libel claim

The Prince sued Associated Newspapers Limited over libel in an article written earlier this year.

In the article written about his security arrangement dispute with the Home Office, it is claimed that he tried to manipulate the public.

Harry's barrister claims this is false and has caused ongoing damage to the Prince's reputation.

So far, the judge has ruled that parts of the article are indeed defamatory.

Has a King or Queen dissolved Parliament before?

The Queen must give her permission for an election to take place, and she has the power to refuse such a request if it breaches certain constitutional conventions. 

The last dissolution of Parliament was in November 2019 to make way for the general election, which Boris Johnson won.

Parliament is dissolved 25 days before the general election, which happens every five years.

The Prime Minister visits the monarch and asks them to dissolve Parliament to allow for campaigning and the public to vote.

In 1979, Labour PM James Callaghan lost a vote of no confidence, leading to the Queen dissolving parliament, therefore giving the public the right to vote in the next Government.

However, the Queen can refuse a request to dissolve Parliament.

Historically, the monarch is able to dissolve Parliament and does so at the end of each term.

This usually happens every five years but can be brought forward by royal proclamation.

When the Queen dissolves Parliament, all Members of Parliament are dismissed and a general election is called.

The Fixed-term Parliaments Act 2011 meant an election could only be called outside the five-year Parliamentary cycle by one of two scenarios - if two-thirds of the House of Commons voted in favour of one, or if the Government lost a vote of no confidence.

But the power to call a snap election was reinstated by the Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022.

Prince Harry was being dragged "around like a royal performing seal" within just four months of meeting his wife Meghan Markle, Ingrid Seward has claimed.

Not again – Meghan Markle’s potential new Oprah interview

Meghan and Harry could “play the victim” and have another Oprah interview, a royal expert has claimed.

GeoTV reports that according to Duncan Larcombe, if a report from Buckingham Palace reveals that the Sussexes bullied members of staff, then they could have another bombshell interview to explain their side of the story.

He says: “For Jason Knauff to take that risk of reporting to Prince William, his ultimate boss, concerns he had about his staff and the treatment of them at the hands of one of the members of the Royal Family.

“That is not only unusual, but within the Queen’s reign this is absolutely unprecedented.”

“I think the reason they are not publishing any of this is because the Palace is running scared of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

“I think they know that if they publish the report, the next thing that will happen potentially is for Harry and Meghan to play the victim and go on Oprah and cause another world of pain.”

Harry to launch ANOTHER lawsuit

Prince Harry is preparing to launch another lawsuit after details were revealed regarding “significant tensions” between the Duke and one of the Queen’s closest aides.

Express Online reports that Harry’s lawyer stated that he had experienced “significant tensions” with a top aide to the Queen involved in downgrading his security.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not been informed.

Sir Edward Young, the Queen’s private secretary, played a role, they suggest.

Harry is now contemplating a new lawsuit after the Palace didn’t inform the Home Office he’d pay for police security. 

Meghan Markle and Andrew are LEAST popular royals

Meghan Markle and Prince Andrew are now two of the least popular members of the Royal Family, claims a recent poll.

Express Online reports on YouGov’s polling data which found that out of 15 royals, Andrew came last with an 11 percent popularity rating.

Meghan landed at number 14, with a 25 percent popularity rating.

Prince Harry and Meghan security spotted drone above their Los Angeles show

It is reported that the incident happened in 2020, and their security had to remove the drone from their premisis.

An LA based photographer was shockingly caught flying a drone over Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Montecito home.

The Daily Star reported that the photographer was flying it over the roof of their mansion.

Mark Karloff, the retired photographer who caught the paparazzo flying the drone, told the publication it could have been a “big problem”.

A royal writer has compared most recent the photographs captured of Meghan and Harry to his brother Prince William and wife Kate.

Daniela Elser, said the photographs, which have now been deleted off social media, were “unremarkable”.

She wrote for the New Zealand Herald: “The shots in and of themselves are not that remarkable – a very cute little boy sucking a lollipop while watching a parade, Meghan casually but chicly dressed and Harry doing his usual impression of a hirsute thundercloud.

“But it’s the fact that the shots themselves were even taken that is significant here.

“Ask yourself this: Have you ever seen similar images crop up of William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s children?”

Drawing comparison to the Cambridge children she said: “They are not housebound nor kept squirrelled away permanently behind six-foot walls.

“Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis all go to school, tennis lessons at the Hurlingham Club and have been seen shopping with Kate.

“And yet how often do we ever really see photos on social media, snapped of the kids taken unawares?”

Daniela went on to analyse the Cambridge children’s public appearance, explaining how despite in five years of living in central London, just one kilometre away from the Daily Mail HQ, they have been left mostly alone to grow up in peace.

The writer suggests that the Cambridge children have more privacy living in the thick of it all, than Archie and Lilibet, despite the two Sussex children being hidden away.

A source claiming to be close to the Duchess alleged that she was glad to be cleared from defamatory claims.

The source said to Us Weekly, that Meghan is feeling “happy” to have her name cleared.

This comes after the revelations from the bullying investigation the Palace conducted have been buried.

The source told Us Weekly: “Meghan is a fair boss and never bullied anyone who worked for her at the Palace in the first place.

“She’s happy that her name has been cleared from the defamatory claims.”

Two police men from the Met have been sacked over vile racist messages

The officers made some terrible comments in a Whatsapp group chat.

In 2018 three police officers sent disgusting messages to a group chat where they compared Meghan Markle to a racist doll called a golliwog.

A court case has concluded that the “abhorrent” words they used mounted to gross misconduct.

The two met officers have also been sacked.

Queen’s 'baby steps' to 'ingratiate' Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

The Queen is taking "baby steps" to "reingratiate" Meghan Markle and Prince Harry back into the Royal Family, a royal expert has claimed.

Express Online reports that Tessa Dunlop told the Royal Beat: "I think we saw baby steps during the Jubilee at trying to reingratiate the Sussexes into the family fold.

"Not back into The Firm, into the working Royal Family but back into being part of that loving family, which is the persona that the royals have held for decades."
