My Kate Bush tribute act has been swamped with bookings since she returned to No1 thanks to Netflix’s Stranger Things
A KATE Bush tribute act have been inundated with bookings since one of the singer’s 80s hits appeared in a hit Netflix show.
Moments of Pleasure were used to getting booked for one gig every two to three weeks.
But since Stranger Things used Running Up That Hill they’ve had 12 bookings in two weeks.
The song, first released in 1985, became UK No 1 last week.
Lisa-Marie Walters, 39, who fronts the five-person group, said business is booming.
The Bristol singer said: “We noticed a surge in bookings pretty immediately after the episode hit Netflix.

“We always play Running Up That Hill anyway.
"But we are being asked if we will be playing it when we get new bookings now.”
She added: ""Kate has always had a huge and very dedicated fan base, but we are now seeing younger people at our shows, which is wonderful."
